Description Permanent contract, 22.5 hours per week (0.6), 52 weeks per year Salary is pro rata   To work within Adult Community Learning to design and deliver a range of entry level vocational skills courses at Somer Valley Campus for adults who are currently unemployed or in receipt of a low wage.

Key Responsibilities To design a range of vocational skills courses for adults with progression pathways to the Construction Department.
Focus on core skills covered within Level l courses across a range of construction skills provisions to design 21hr or 45hr short courses for adults.
Construction skills areas of expertise include plumbing; woodworking; brick; painting and decorating; plastering; and stone masonry.
All courses will fall within the standard Quality Assurance process of the College and will need to include appropriate structure to monitor learner progress and achievement in line with OFSTED regulation Please see attached for the full Job Description Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Teaching Qualification Level 5 or above Equivalent of GCSE grade 4 (Previously C grade) or above in English & Mathematics Construction Skills qualification Full driving license with access to own transport  Please see attached for the full Person Specification  Staff Benefits Generous paid holiday entitlement of 40 days, exclusive of College closure days and public holidays.
