As a Lecturer you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levelsSupporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potentialManaging students' learning and provide a high quality learning experienceTeaching effectively on a range of courses recognising and meeting students' individual needsPreparing schemes of work which are up to date and fully meet the requirements of awarding bodiesResearching, developing and effectively implementing new learning materials in a variety of media to engage students in learning.Undertaking course administration as necessaryAbout you:Degree in Computing or related subject or considerable work experience in the fieldCertificate in Education or equivalent in line with the Statutory Instrument or willingness to work towardsEnglish and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalentAbility to teach one or more of the following topics: Networking/Network SecurityIT Essentials (CISCO)Programming (Python/C++/Java)Computer SystemsKnowledge of current developments in own specialist areaRecent experience of teaching in a UK school, college or universityExperience of working effectively with people from diverse backgroundsExperience of working constructively to achieve team objectives and deadlines
