Lecturer in A Level Social Sciences (Criminology & Sociology) 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year £32,732 - £39,096 per annum The Social Sciences are a well-established and growing area at Paston College with a good history of achievement and success.
The successful applicant would be expected to take lead in the planning, delivery and assessment of the Criminology Diploma as well as Sociology A level delivery.
The social sciences are our most popular subjects in terms of student numbers with almost a third of all A level students studying Criminology alone.
The successful candidate would be part of a very supportive and collaborative team of Psychology and social science staff.
Students can combine these subjects with any of our other 26 subjects creating a broad and varied student body.
Participating in promotional events such as open evenings and taster days and liaising with stakeholders, including parent evenings are also key functions of the role.
