LocationThis role is based in Horsham and is easily accessible by car from the following locations within a 30-minute commute:Crawley, Haywards Heath, Billingshurst, Dorking, East Grinstead, Worthing, Redhill, Reigate, Shoreham-by-Sea Benefits Salary: £11.60 - £12.85 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only (39 weeks per year).
Working Hours: 37.5 - 40 hours per week (Full and part-time options available).

Your RoleAs a Further Education Teaching Assistant, you will be based in a specialist college setting, working under the guidance of Specialist Tutors and Learning College Support Workers.
The college offers young adults (aged 19+) access to specialist education while providing therapy and behavioural support through a multidisciplinary team.

DutiesYour main responsibilities will include: Creating an engaging and supportive learning environment in line with the college's ethos.
Assisting in planning and implementing individual and group educational programs under the direction of the Lead Tutor or Centre Manager.
Supporting students in achieving their individual educational goals, contributing to the development of their overall learning plans.
Maintaining accurate records for specific students and actively participating in their daily learning routines.
Providing high standards of physical and emotional care, including personal care and healthcare tasks, as necessary.
Facilitating student mobility, including assisting with moving furniture and equipment as required.
