We are looking to appoint 3 Learning Support Assistants - 27.5 hours a week.
one to start ASAP - Two days to start January 2025.Also a 2 days a week Learning Support Assistant 11 hours a week to start January 2025.
Our Learning Support Assistants play a vital role in assisting students with differing needs and abilities to maximize their potential and achievement.
This role would suit someone, with existing experience, with a desire to make a difference to the life chances of students.
In addition, if you are considering a career teaching, this would be an excellent starting point and many of our LSAs have gone on to successfully pursue this as a career.
A positive and flexible approach is essential.
Other qualities required include patience, excellent communication and motivational skills, and being able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team building good relationships with colleagues and students.
Experience of supporting students with SEND or relevant qualifications are advantageous.
A desire to actively contribute to the learning, personal and social needs of students, while encouraging independence is required.
Key duties will include assisting and advancing learning of identified students including 1:1 support in and outside of lessons, small group work and supporting children with EHCPs within a class.
Experience in delivering Speech and Language programmes is an advantage.We are looking for someone to work Monday to Friday 27.5 hours a week across the school day: 8.45am to 2 :45pm.
The actual salary is £15,000.00 - 27.5 hours - £6,000.24 - 11 Hours.
