£12.26 - £12.45 per hour 30 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year Temporary until 31 August 2025 Required for as soon as possible The Governors of Wood Fold Primary School are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide general support to the classteacher in the management of pupils in the classroom and during break times and lunchtimes.
The job will involve working with groups of children, individual children and whole class support as necessary.
The successful applicant will be based with one class for the majority of the time but could work with other children as and when required.
Flexibility is essential as our Learning Support Assistants move around to suit the needs of the children.
We are looking to appoint someone who is able to: support the overall development, academically, socially and emotionally of all children; have high expectations of all children both in the classroom and around school including lunchtimes; supervise and provide support for all children ensuring their safety and access to learning activities; work under the instruction/guidance of teaching staff to undertake work / care / support programmes / plans to enable access to learning; work as part of a team to ensure high quality provision and care.
This position is available at salary scale G2 x 30 hours per week (Monday Friday: 8.45 am to 3.15 pm), term-time only plus 3 INSET days.
