Job Summary of Learning Support Assistant-LSA: As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll provide essential support to individual students with specific learning needs.
Your role involves working closely with teachers and other professionals to carry out a tailored learning plan for each student.
Job Responsibilities for Learning Support Assistant-LSA: Offer one-to-one or small group support to students with learning needs.
Help put individualized education plans into action.
Work alongside teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to support the student.
Build a positive, supportive relationship with the student to enhance their learning experience.
Track and report on the student's progress to teachers and parents.
Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
Qualifications as a Learning Support Assistant-LSA: Good communication and people skills.
Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
Proactive attitude and ability to work well with the teaching team.
Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not necessary.
A passion for helping young people learn and grow.
