Job Type: Full time Job Location: Chelmsford School Setting: Special School Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent   REF: SENDIRECT/191642 Rate: £80-£110 per day Hours: 8:30-15:30 Start Date: Immediately   We are seeking a compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a dedicated team in a Special School in Chelmsford.
This full-time position offers a temporary to permanent contract, providing an excellent opportunity to support students with special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualised learning support for students with a range of needs.
Your role will involve helping students engage with the curriculum, building their confidence, and assisting in their personal development.

  Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom support to students with special educational needs.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt learning materials and strategies.
Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
Assist with the implementation of personalised learning plans.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and staff.
Help create a safe and positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in supporting students with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
A positive and empathetic approach to supporting students.
