Learning Support Assistant Required Location:  Bridport Position:  Full-Time Learning Support Assistant A reputable mainstream secondary school in Bridport, known for its inclusive education and dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) unit, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their team from January 2024.
Key Responsibilities: Provide support to students with SEN, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
Work closely with the SEN Coordinator and teaching staff to create a positive learning environment.
Support students during lessons, ensuring they remain engaged and focused.
Encourage the development of social skills and support students' participation in school activities.
Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred.
A passion for working with young people and a commitment to their educational and personal development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, resilience, and adaptability.
Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
