Who we need We require a highly experienced Construction Assessor, with extensive industrial experience in Plumbing & Plastering.
You will work with a caseload of Level 2 & 3 apprentices, to provide flexible, high-quality training and assessments within the workplace.
Key responsibilities include: - Being responsible for a caseload of apprentices and their E-portfolios, ensuring timely completion within agreed and appropriate timescales.
- Engaging with employers, employer mentors to tailor the apprentices learning based on their individual needs.
- Build professional working relationships with employers within the sector to encourage employer engagement.
- Ensure key objectives are achieved such as completing reviews, off the job is recorded and up to date, monitoring of attendance, recording of the learner journey, timely completion, etc.
What youll bring The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards & End Point Assessments, within Plumbing & Plastering.
Essential skills include: -Understanding of the monitoring of learners through development action planning and setting smart targets through progress reviews.
-Experience of successful team working and be committed to a team-based approach -Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent timekeeping and attendance -Be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of apprentices, along with providing support of additional learning needs and maths, English and ICT (where identified) -Hold an Assessor A1 award (equivalent) or be willing to work towards Interviews / Assessments are planned for: week commencing 18/11/24 A place to belong Join a diverse, vibrant community of over 1,300 staff and feel welcome from day one.
