This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our vision and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, young people, and families.Working in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, you will manage a caseload effectively, using appropriate assessment and evaluation tools to design and implement tailored support packages and interventions.Key Responsibilities:• Deliver engaging, dynamic sessions to children and young people participating in Alternative Education Packages• Work collaboratively with other professionals to inspire learning, engagement, and positive outcomes• Support and empower children, young people, and families to develop and sustain positive patterns of behaviour• Provide targeted interventions during transition periods and making referrals to external agencies where necessary• Organise and facilitate bespoke learning and enrichment activities designed to build confidence, self-esteem, and wellbeing• Adopt a proactive, strengths-based approach to working with individuals with diverse needs, ensuring they are empowered to reach their full potential• Maintain high-quality standards in safeguarding, including identifying and reporting child protection concerns• Complete accurate case records, assessments, and professional reports that align with Key Performance IndicatorsEssential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:• Minimum Grade A-C in English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)• Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline• Competent in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office• Strong professional report writing skills• Experience with outreach work and working in partnership with external agencies• Be an inclusive and respectful practitioner committed to meeting the needs of individual learners Desirable Skills and Training:• Mental Health Awareness qualifications.• Safeguarding Level 2 • Paediatric First Aid• Prevent Training Additional Requirements:• Enhanced DBS check with barred list checked• Three references, including one from your most recent employer• Flexibility to work between 9:00am - 5:00pm and travel across Devon as required• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport, including business insurance, is desirable for outreach work and transporting studentsWhat We Offer:• The opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment• A chance to make a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and families• Professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise• Employee assist program• CPDIf you are passionate, motivated, and committed to empowering individuals to achieve their potential, we would love to hear from you.For any enquiries, please telephone Jenni Budd on 07387 671223.To apply, please submit a completed application form and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and suitability for the role to Lyn brown
