As a Learning Facilitator you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students by:Supporting the development of study skills to students with an identified Learning Difficulty and/or DisabilityDeveloping and maintaining resources to support the needs of students with an identified Learning Difficulty and/or DisabilityMaintaining relevant documentation in line with College requirementsProviding out of class study skills support to students with an identified Learning Difficulty and/or Disability on a 1-1 or small group basisAdministering and assessing tests and invigilate tests such as initial assessmentsLiaising with curriculum staff to support students to continue to develop their skills within the Study CentreMaintaining and developing a range of learning resources to support students attending the Study Centre including assistive technologies.Working with the Head of Department to allocate effective support within the Study Centre to meet the needs of students with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.About you:Educated to Level 3 (A level or equivalent) standardLevel 3 Award in Education and TrainingGCSE Maths and English (grades A* – C) or equivalentExperience of providing support to individuals in an educational or care settingExperience of working with students with a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilitiesRecent experience of administrative work in an office environmentExperience of working with students across a wide age and ability range, and within a variety of vocational contextsEvidence of high performance in previous roles/jobsExperience of working effectively with people/clients from diverse backgroundsEvidence of understanding how to promote equality and diversity within the job role
