The Recipe Are you an L&D Specialist looking for a new opportunity to build capability at our Wakefield and Burnley sites?
We are looking for an individual that could be based in either location but would be willing to travel between sites.

Our Learning and Development team is at the heart of our aim to enhance our manufacturing and distribution capabilities.
As part of an engaged and supportive team, you will partner with site leadership teams to own the L&D agenda across your site and depots, directly impacting our operational excellence and management skills.
You would be joining a high-performing, fun, national L&D team that is committed to not only the development of their colleagues but also their own development and the achievement of both personal and business goals.
Key Accountabilities and Measures Work in collaboration with the operational management teams, HR and TLC, to assess and developplans to address learningneeds, ensuring they are aligned to the National L&D plan and business strategy.
Delivers group and 1:1 learning solutions (either face to face or virtually) across a range of behavioural and technical topics.
Manages and implements the annual L&D plan, utilising the Learning Management System (LMS)to ensure that processes are managed, and accurate training records are maintained.
Uses data and reports to monitor performance and engage Managers to identify actions to address gaps.
Contributes to the design and development of learning solutions, working in partnership with the Learning Content Designer and business SMEs to ensure effective learning methodologies are applied and consistent design standards are met.
Coaches and develops the capability of all Operations skills trainers, to ensure high standards and consistency of delivery are met.
Evaluates the impact of all learning interventions across all levels of the Kirkpatrick model to ensure learning outcomes and return on investment are achieved.
Coaches and develops junior operational talent, including next generation talent (apprentices), contributing to the development of an internal pipeline for operations Supports the delivery of capability initiatives for key business projects and transformation, working in an agile and flexible way to ensure business needs are met.
Essential Ingredients An expert in Learning and Development Ability to use coaching and mentoring approaches in learning Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to promote the value of a learning culture Excellent knowledge of the learning cycle and experience in its implementation Excellent understanding of accelerated learning techniques and adult learning theories and confident in using this to design and deliver engaging development solutions Experience of working with Learning Technologies and embraces a range of blended learning solutions Knowledge of management development theory, models and best practice Flexibility to work across multiple locations to ensure a consistent service is provided across both Manufacturing and Distribution teams.
