£8,.90 – £8,.36 Post 2 You will be required to work 15 hours per week 39 weeks per year until 30th of May £9,.68 - £10,.43 We are seeking to appoint a capable and enthusiastic Learning Assistant to work in the Langholm Academy Cluster based across Langholm Primary & Langholm Secondary.
You will be required to support pupils with additional support needs to overcome barriers to their learning and reach their full potential.
The posts are term time working over 39 weeks per year.
Posts are fixed term until May/July and may be suitable for secondment.
Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for the posts.Applications will be considered for both posts – please state which post you are applying for or both in your application.
The successful candidates must be educated to SCQF Level 4 (e.g.
Standard Grade General, National 4) or equivalent, including Numeracy and Literacy or equivalent and experience of working with children and/or young people.
Experience of working with children/young people with additional support needs, would be advantageous.
A willingness to undertake training will be required.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act .
