Job Description Culina has strategic plans for further expansion and we are committed to developing and nurturing talent and the future workforce.
This is a key role with prime responsibility to facilitate, deliver and adapt training initiatives that support business objectives whilst supporting and encouraging all employees in becoming the best that they can be.
You will be responsible for a number of sites training needs within a region, therefore a willingness to travel is required.
We are flexible for this role to be based at any of our sites within the midlands and north region.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week.
  Key Duties of a Learning and Development Partner: Identify any skills gaps within both the organisation and individuals, offering guidance and support to develop capabilities Design, deliver & maintain training course content, materials and lesson plans in core, personal & management skills training courses, providing support for other Culina colleagues in the business Support employees and managers with Career Development Plans and Personal Development Plans Assist in the review and development of training policies and initiatives to ensure all learning is aligned to company objectives Maintain Continuous Professional Development and actively seek improvement opportunities for L&D, utilising E-Learning, Virtual Learning and blended learning Offer short term coaching contracts and establish mentoring relationships Maintain efficient L&D Administration and Planning practices Liaise with key stakeholders to ascertain and deliver L&D initiatives across various business units Work collaboratively with wider HR community to help people plans Develop identified talent to enable succession planning   Qualifications Previous experience within a similar L&D position.
Confident presenting to individuals and groups.
Experience with the use of PowerPoint.
Exceptional training and coaching skills.
Ability to motivate people to higher levels of performance.
Establishes good relationships with a range of people.
Recognises and rewards the contribution of others.
Listens, consults others and communicates proactively.
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to manage own workload.
Upholds ethics and values.
Attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative.
