Job summary The Learning & Development Officer is a newly established role within Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, created to support the Learning & Development team in delivering essential training and educational programs.
This position plays a pivotal role in coordinating induction programs, apprenticeship initiatives and maintaining accurate training records.
By providing high-quality administrative and logistical support, the Officer ensures the smooth delivery of training and development activities across the Trust.
Main duties of the job Facilitate and coordinate the Trust's induction programs, including Corporate and Clinical Induction.Support apprenticeship programs by tracking progress, managing records, and liaising with training providers.Maintain training records in systems such as ESR and Learning Lab, ensuring data accuracy.Act as a primary contact for routine enquiries from staff, managers and apprentices, escalating complex queries as necessary.Process purchase orders, manage training-related expenses and update training information on the Trust's intranet.Serve as a deputy for the Learning & Development Advisor when needed.
