We are very pleased to be able to offer an opportunity to join our Technology Enhanced Learning team, as part of the Learning and Organisational Development Team here at CPFT.
This role would suit someone with keen attention to detail and process, balanced with a flexible and naturally curious and creative approach.
A good candidate will have strong administrative and/or learning support background with a particular interest in the innovative use of emerging learning technologies.
They will be able to contribute to the development of blended learning programmes including review of effectiveness in meeting staff needs, and reporting on training activity.
An excellent candidate will be able to demonstrate their professionalism and innovative attitude to challenges in the workplace, and a commitment to empowering others.

To provide daily administrative management and troubleshooting of queries relating to digital learning content and training data.
To communicate complex training requirements to a wide range of staff with varying IT knowledge.
To train nominated Trust staff, where necessary, on a 1:1 or small group basis.
To manage and prioritise workloads, use own initiative and work without direct supervision although under the guidance of Learning and Development Consultant To deliver learning content developments in a timely manner, prioritising work appropriately and using project management tools to help achieve this.
To participate in and contribute to departmental projects as required, evaluating risks to new solution implementation.
To maintain data quality and integrity of training records held within Learning Management Systems.
To act as a TEL champion and create champions within the Trust to increase take up.
To plan and manage own complex workload where work is unpredictable.
To develop and maintain virtual learning environments to support programmes and courses.
To create and maintain complete records and documentation in relation to the digital learning content development.
Produce, develop, and promote user guides and support material to enable learners to make best use of all the learning resources available.
Ensure that all materials associated with CPFT Academy online presence are kept updated in line with changes to the software and/or business processes.
Participate in the production or review of reports, procedures, policies, guidelines, and other documentation as required.
Analysis and maintenance tasks related to high quality record keeping.
Contribute to the learning technologies strategy.
Support development of the technological skills of trainers via different media routes Continuously research and recommend new e-learning technologies/practices and ways they can be implemented to improve our offering for the student learning experience.
Respond to changes in staff training needs analysis, considering solutions using VLE tools.
Ensure own knowledge of new learning technologies is kept up to date by accessing the relevant research and knowledge base and implementing learning into relevant work programmes.
Person Specification Education/Qualifications Essential Degree level qualification or equivalent professional qualification/experience Desirable Training in use of digital learning authoring software and Moodle based virtual learning environments Experience Essential Experience working in an office environment Experience working unsupervised Experience working in a customer service role Desirable Experience working for the NHS Experience designing and/or delivering training Project management experience Skills & Abilities Essential Competence in networked environment, use of Microsoft Office, online databases, local area networks.
Advanced skills in the use of spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel Competence with using web-based learning and working environment such as Microsoft Teams, etc Able to prioritise and work to deadlines Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Able to work on own initiative Excellent record keeping skills Desirable Web publishing skills Familiarity with use of search engines and searching of structured databases Knowledge & Understanding Essential Knowledge of learning management systems, and online delivery systems for digital products.
Sound understanding of internet-based technologies and social networking Knowledge of Data Protection Act, Information Governance and Freedom of Information Current working knowledge of the use of computing and networks in the delivery of learning and teaching Desirable Knowledge and understanding of the advances in e-learning design Knowledge of HTML Other Essential Ability to work at/use a PC for extended periods of time Ability to work within a team and alone Willingness to be flexible in approach and attitude Desirable Ability to drive/access to a car
