Job Description Role Purpose: We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Learning & Development Advisor to join our Learning & Development team.
As the Learning & Development Advisor you will interface with defined groups to identify, develop, deliver and evaluate blended learning and development solutions that support the business objectives of these groups, as well as contribute to the HR and L&D strategic plans and projects Coordinate training for the Central Services and wider business where needed PDR support and any ad-hoc training requirements.
Liaise with stakeholders across the Group to ensure systems support business and people development activities, including SHEQ compliance requirements.
Become a super user of existing learning and development systems including the database, LMS and PDR.
Coordinate the PDR process, including implementing any amendments to the existing system and process, including the provision and maintenance of user guides.
Ensure accuracy of reports, including regular liaison with HR to check input data.
Produce reports as per the agreed Pillar schedule, including for the Central Services/ EXCO Review.
Support Group L&D Manager to Coordinate the production of training matrices for both compliance and staff development purposes.
Provide effective support to the Learning and Development function to achieve and maintain compliance in all areas of training.
Advise on ongoing capabilities of, and enhancements to, the systems to support Learning and Development initiatives including Talent Management, Careers Pathways, training matrices and PDRs.
Process invoices, liaising with suppliers and accounts as required.
Deliver other ad-hoc administration support as required by the Group L&D Manager.
Support the link between training and G-Tec for compliance/ development training Support on roll out of Leaderships and Management training / Talent training and other adhoc training required via Pillar MDs.
Support Early Careers manager with adhoc admin and task with in system and grant applications with CITB Qualifications Excellent interpersonal and internal customer facing skills.
Experience of learning and development systems, including e learning.
Experience of working in a learning and development function, Ability to be flexible and prioritise workload effectively.
The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
A high level of discretion and confidentiality.
IT literate Excel/ Word / PowerPoint Additional Information Experience of working with a learning experience platform.
Administering a staff appraisal/PDR system.
Knowledge of iTrent as an administrator and user.
Construction/Energy/Telecoms industry experience.
