Closing Date2024-12-02Position Title: Leakage Performance ManagerLocation: Hampshire and IOWSalary: Up to £47,000 depending on skills and experienceContract Type: Permanent/Full-TimeSouthern Water is looking for an experienced and motivated Leakage Performance Manager to lead the safe, compliant, and cost-efficient operation and maintenance of water-related assets within a designated geographical area.
The primary focus of this role is to achieve Leakage targets while driving innovation in leak detection and repair processes.In this role, you will oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of assets in the assigned area, ensuring that leakage targets are met.
You will manage the day-to-day performance of Southern Water Leakage Technicians and external framework suppliers, leading them through leak detection, repairs, and maintenance activities.
You will play a key role in fostering a high-performing team culture by maintaining strong employee engagement and ensuring effective consultation practices.
Additionally, you will be required to participate in the out-of-hours FEC rota as necessary.As part of your responsibilities, you will develop and implement innovative solutions and new processes to improve leak detection and repair operations.
You will also ensure that business processes and procedures are up-to-date and align with current working practices.To be successful in this role, you will have experience in water operations, particularly in leak detection, repairs, and maintenance.
You will possess a strong understanding of operational processes and be skilled in analysing data to identify key drivers and resolve issues.
Your commercial acumen and experience in budget management and compliance with regulatory standards will be essential.
You will thrive under pressure, demonstrating strong planning, prioritization, and leakage reduction skills.
