Lead Vehicle Systems Engineer

Socium are proud to be recruiting for an exciting technology business based in High Wycombe in their search for a Lead Systems Engineer with experience of reengineering and various vehicle systems to join their industry leading team.

Due to the nature of the role, you will largely be based on site, however, there is always flexibility in the organisation due to their forward thinking nature.

What are we looking for?

10 years plus with various vehicle systems , actuators, sensors, internal controls and electrical communications/architecture, design and operation Expertise in vehicle architecture, embedded systems and CAN bus communication protocols Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics via OBD-II (J1979) and J1939, plus strong understanding of vehicle communication standards such as KWP/UDS or similar Strong understanding of automotive software architectures for ECU development such as AUTOSAR, specifically in regards to the application layer/functional clusters Are you an expert in your field?
