A Lead User Researcher role for an innovative platform in the travel marketplace!
If you're an insights-driven professional who specialises within quantitative research, customer segmentation, and app based B2C growth, this role could be for you!
Job Title : Lead User Researcher Location : Remote-first, with occasional visits to London/Brighton Salary: Up to £80k As the first dedicated researcher, you'll have the opportunity to shape the approach to user research from the ground up.
This is an individual contributor role where you'll lead major quantitative initiatives, developing in-depth segmentation models and supporting cross-functional projects that drive growth and retention.
Key Responsibilities : Define Research Strategy : Lead a comprehensive user research strategy, setting priorities aligned with company goals and product objectives.
Insights for Growth : Partner with product, data, and marketing teams to embed data-driven insights into acquisition, retention, and app engagement strategies.
Toolkits & Standards : Develop and maintain a research repository, toolkits, and documentation to ensure high-quality, consistent research practices across the company.
Stakeholder Engagement : Present insights and recommendations to high-level stakeholders, advocating for data-backed decisions in product and marketing strategies.
Quantitative & Mixed-Methods Research : Drive a quant-heavy approach, using survey data, behavioural analytics, and A/B testing, with some qualitative support to enhance customer understanding.
Qualifications : 7+ years in user research with a focus on quantitative methods , B2C growth , and app-based research Proven success with customer segmentation , lifecycle mapping , and other high-impact, data-driven research initiatives Ability to set up and maintain a research repository , toolkits, and research standards Strong experience working with cross-functional teams to support product, marketing, and CRM strategies Preferred Qualifications : Experience with growth-focused research in a marketplace or subscription model Familiarity with CRM systems and integrating data insights to optimise user engagement Strong analytical skills, with expertise in survey design, A/B testing , and quantitative data analysis tools If you're ready to drive impactful user research for a high-growth platform, apply today!
