PVC was established in 2009, becoming part of the Community Gateway Association (CGA) Group as its charitable subsidiary in 2013.
Since 2009, we've welcomed over 7000 learners through our doors, helping them re-engage with education and reach their potential.
What would I be doing in this role?
This role supports the Centre Manager in the day-to-day running of the Centre, by carrying out Lead Internal Verifier responsibilities and being the main point of contact for the awarding bodies we work with, as well as dealing with curriculum queries from our schools and partner institutions.
The Lead Tutor will plan the curriculum timetable and give support and guidance to the teaching team, providing classroom cover as required.
They will deputise for the Centre Manager.
What we are looking for: You'll have experience of working in a similar role in training / education alongside experience of working in the construction industry.
You'll have a teaching qualification at level 3 or above and experience of carrying out student assessments You'll have the ability to inspire learners and engage them in vocational education, encouraging them to reach their potential.
