A fantastic SEN school in Corby is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Teacher to join the dedicated team.
Their school is a haven for young learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech, Language, and Communication Difficulties.
They pride themselves on their child-led learning approach, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment where each child's educational development and EHCP plans are at the forefront.
As their Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their students.
With Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and expertise in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1), you will lead the delivery of their EYFS/KS1 curriculum.
Your creativity and commitment will help create an inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the EYFS/KS1 curriculum delivery.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in line with EHCPs.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to support student development.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience in EYFS and KS1.
Strong understanding of the EYFS/KS1 curriculum.
Experience working with children with ASD, Speech, Language, and Communication Difficulties.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
