Lead Software Engineer

Role: Lead Engineer Salary range: 90 - 110k Location : Central London (x3 days per week onsite) Tech stack includes: React, NextJS, Typescript, GCP, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
Current team size : CTO, Product Lead, x2 engineers (offshore) Lead Engineer (backend focussed) required on a Permanent basis for an early stage startup within the construction/sustainability space, building an auditing/brokering platform to reduce carbon, waste and cost.
They've just closed a seed round, already generating revenue, and are looking to build out their main product.
Responsibilities include: product roadmap guidance, leading tech discussions, building out the product, managing/growing the team, communicating with stakeholders/customers.
Essentials for this role: 5+ years experience as a full stack engineer (backend focussed) Relevant experience to their tech stack (doesn't need to be identical but TS/JS essential) Demonstrable experience leading and building a product or a feature set for a large product suite.
Ability to deliver and run teams (management experience not essential, but this role will require to do so).
