Lead Sign FitterUp to £35,000 Northampton **If you have a fitter’s mate you work with regularly – a team would be considered so please mention this on your application or get in touch to discuss** Our client is a large format print business who specialise in creating high impact graphics and branded spaces.
Established over 20 years ago, they’re seeking a dynamic and organized Head Sign Fitter to work with some of their most prolific clients to oversee works from start to finish.
The business offers a variety of services including hoarding graphics, window displays, signage, wall graphics and lots of other branding materials, primarily operating within retail, construction, house building and events. Due to continued growth the business is looking to bring an in-house fitting team into the business so they’re looking for someone enthusiastic, hard working and knowledgeable who can take ownership of installations, guided by the company’s Project Management team.
Overnight stays in this role are to be kept to an absolute minimum but some flexibility around this to be expected. The Role Lead the installation of various types of hard signage, including but not limited to totems, monoliths, directional, and illuminated signs.
There may also be some vinyl application work, but full training can be provided on this.Driving the company vehicle in a safe manner, keeping the van and its contents tidy and presentableSafely operate cherry pickers and/or scaffolding if required on the jobWork closely with the in-house teams to ensure accurate and efficient installation.Oversee and work closely with a fitter’s mate.Liaise with clients and site managers, ensuring their requirements are met and their expectations exceeded.Ensure all signage is installed to safety standards and in line with company and site safety protocols.Handle installations across housebuilding projects, including hoarding, marketing suites, and wayfinding signs.
