Lead Service & UX Designer Location: London - Hybrid working
Salary: £80,000 - £95,000 + 15% bonus + benefits About the Role: We are seeking a talented Lead Service & UX Designer to join our UK Studio and drive forward our Customer Experience and Service Design capabilities.
In this hands-on and strategic role, you will deliver innovative solutions, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and build high-quality user experiences that set new standards in the industry.
Working alongside Design, Client Services, and PM leads, you'll shape proposals and engagements, leading service design activities such as client workshops, design principles development, and design research partnerships.
You'll oversee complex projects, ensure deep empathy for the end-user, and mentor junior designers to cultivate a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities: Lead interaction and service design activities, including workshops, brainstorming sessions, and project-level design strategies.
Collaborate with teams to create consistent, detailed deliverables (e.g., wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and personas).
Guide design research, partner with internal teams, and contribute to refining our Service Design methodologies.
Offer feedback, mentoring, and performance assessments for junior team members.
Balance entrepreneurial and strategic thinking to deliver design solutions that align with emerging technologies and the digital economy.
Requirements: Proven experience leading multi-designer service projects and managing complex design engagements.
Proficiency in Service Design tools, templates, and relevant software (Adobe CC, Invision, Sketch, Axure, etc.).
Skilled in creating high-quality deliverables and adapting to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong communicator, able to present ideas confidently, with a passion for empathy-driven design.
