Anson McCade are currently partnering with a leading organisation in the UK as they seek to appoint a Lead Service & UX Designer.
In this role, the postholder will play a pivotal part in enhancing Customer Experience and Service Design capabilities, establishing these as core offerings that position the studio among top-tier providers in these fields.

This designer will collaborate closely with Design, Client Services, and PM leads, as well as consulting colleagues, to shape proposals and engagements.
Working alongside best-in-class experience design and technology teams, they will deliver innovative employee, customer, and user experiences.
As both a hands-on practitioner and coach, they will craft compelling and thoughtfully designed products and services, confidently navigating the full design process, from research to sketching and wireframing concepts.

Lead Service & UX Designer responsibilities include:
Spearheading interaction and service design activities across projects, including conducting client workshops, facilitating creative brainstorming, and establishing design principles.
Grounding all work in a comprehensive understanding of the end users.
Overseeing design research partnerships with external partners and clients or collaborating with the internal research team.
Leading all interaction and service design efforts at the project level.
Advancing and innovating Service Design practices by incorporating insights from both external and internal expertise.
Offering constructive feedback and guidance to junior team members while accurately evaluating their performance.
Experience required for the role:
Extensive experience in leading service design projects with multiple designers and overseeing complex design engagements.
Expert in Service Design methodologies, with strong proficiency in relevant tools and templates.
Effective in working with stakeholders to produce high-quality, detailed deliverables aligned with project requirements (e.g., concepts, ideation, mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes, user stories, journeys, personas, and user journey mapping).
Proven ability to coach and develop junior team members to maximize their potential.
Strong product knowledge, including Adobe CC, InVision, Sketch, prototyping tools, and Axure.
