We're a FTSE 100 organisation that is tackling key issues such as transitioning our portfolio to net zero by 2050, and we're not done yet.The role We're currently recruiting for a Lead Review Actuary to join our Open Actuarial Reporting & Change (OARC) team on a 12-month fixed term contract or secondment basis, to provide a professional service applying actuarial, technical & business knowledge to support the delivery of informed & effective decision making in order to deliver the company strategy.This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a fast-paced environment focussing on our Open business lines.
You will be responsible for the production, analysis, and communication of MI on our growing bulk purchase and individual annuity portfolio including a focus on the impact of asset trading and ERMs backing the annuity liabilities.
You may also be involved in the development of new business reporting processes for our new smoothed managed pension funds.
What are we looking for?We are looking for a qualified Actuary with varied experience in actuarial reporting and change, or other life actuarial disciplines with a strong track record of delivery in a commercial environment.Knowledge of financial reporting metrics, including Solvency II is highly desirable, as is an understanding of the range of assets held to support annuity business.
Experience working in actuarial change delivery would be beneficial given the pace of change in our Open business.You will have an ability to build strong relationships and drive action through influence and collaboration across boundaries, and to communicate effectively with a variety of colleagues and senior stakeholders from different disciplines across the business.
