If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you.As a Lead Radiographer at Sevenoaks Medical Centre, you will lead both the service and team, ensuring the safe and efficient provision of a range of diagnostic imaging.This role is a hour per week role based at Sevenoaks Medical Centre, working between Monday and Friday 8am – 8pm.
Main duties of the job As a Lead Radiographer you will: Perform a full range of diagnostic imaging, including MRI, CMR, CT, X-Ray, Mammography and Ultrasound in allocated clinical time.
Mentor and develop staff, enabling them to autonomously within their role.
Review the allocation of staff to the department, adjusting the workforce to reflect activity and patient need.
Ensure the continuous professional development of staff, including your own, is maintained.
Be responsible for maintaining IR(ME)R compliance, interpreting protocols and assessing the justification of radiographic requests.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Hold a Diploma or Degree in radiography with a current HCPC registration.
Desirable Hold a post graduate qualification in MRI / CT Experience Essential Have experience as a team leader or manager and staff development.
Be fully competent carrying out MRI (including CMR) CT and X-ray diagnostic imaging.
Have knowledge of clinical and corporate governance and its application.
Have evidence of continued professional development.
Desirable Have experience in Interventional CT including CT cardiac and CT Colonoscopy
