Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

Lead QA Engineer - MedTech Fully remote UK £60,000 - £70,000 Role Overview: A MedTech business are looking for a skilled Lead QA Engineer to join a growing Product Development team.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality of web applications through effective testing strategies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities: Technical leadership of the QA team, providing guidance, support and mentorship to the team members to develop best practice, including staying current with the latest developments in appropriate technologies.
Process leadership for QA, developing strategies to optimise the way that the team work so that they can an ever increasing level of product quality.
Drive efficiency and cost reduction in QA processes through innovation, automation, and appropriate tools.
Work closely with product management and operations to thoroughly understand what the platform needs to deliver.
Experience Hands-on experience using web automation frameworks, specifically WebdriverIO, as well as others such as Cypress and Playwright to automate testing of complex web applications, ensuring end-to-end functionality, performance, and reliability.
(We are looking for someone who is tech agnostic) Experience creating, maintaining and improving a large, complex automation framework.
Knowledge of quality management systems especially ISO9001 and ISO27001.
Provide mentorship to various level of QA roles.
