Lead/Principal Structural/Civil Engineer

Nexos is seeking an experienced Lead/Principal Structural/Civil Engineer to join our Aberdeen team on a full-time basis.

In this key role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality structural/civil engineering solutions and ensuring alignment with our engineering procedures and core values.
You'll provide guidance to our team of skilled engineers, maintain technical excellence, and play a vital role in project delivery across a diverse portfolio.

What You'll Do: Deliver technically excellent work, adhering to company procedures and industry standards.
Provide guidance to the project team in relation to workload, quality assurance, and project delivery.
Act as the focal point for design scopes, project changes, and client communications.
Provide technical input for tenders, proposals, and multi-discipline designs.
Support recruitment, training, and development of team members, as a technical expert.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and budgets.
What You'll Bring: Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline and Chartered (ICE/IStructE).
Expertise in brownfield offshore projects and steel structure design (concept, FEED, and detailed).
Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, AISC, DNV).
Proficiency in engineering tools like STAAD.Pro and Mathcad.
Commercial and contractual acumen in engineering projects.
