Job summary We are looking for a Lead Practice Nurse to support and nurture our large team of Nurses and Health Care Assistants.You will be responsible for ensuring the nursing team deliver effiecient services and great patient care, overseeing a quality dashboard and ensuring compliance with regulations.You will work closely with our Head of Nursing and Quality on recruitment, Nursing team HR and appraisal.
Main duties of the job Undertake respiratory long term condition management.Undertake diabetes long term condition management.Undertake smears.Support the nursing team (including trainee nurses) to gain competency in the above, alongside external formal learning.Infection prevention and control.Nurse appraisals and first line HR, with the support of Practice Managers.Provision of industry leading Enhanced Services, including services offered to the local PCN practices and hosted at our site.
