Assemble, test, service and rectify a variety of electrical control panels and associated automation equipment as Lead panel builder  Determine and maintain efficient work procedures and techniques as a lead panel builder Communicate and adopt safe systems of work (RAMS) and observe the requirements of any Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders Engage in the determination of work rotas and assignment of tasks as a Lead panel builder  Assess tasks for completeness and report any issues or variations Complete control panel test reports and job documentation Ensure all tools and equipment in use are certified and/or calibrated Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, subcontractors and other third parties Undertake specialist training as required and keep up to date with statutory and legislative requirements You will need +5 years experience of industrial control panel assembly or as a Lead panel builder  A comprehensive toolkit for completing assembly of control panels Experience of working on own initiative Excellent interpersonal, IT and communication skills To be a team player and customer focused as a lead panel builder  Qualifications and Licences NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services - Panel Wiring / Panel Builder or Mechanical Manufacture Engineering (fitting and assembly) or equivalent Approved Apprenticeship in Panel Wiring /Panel Building (Required) ECS Gold Card - Wireman/Panel Builder (Desirable) FLT/Counterbalance Truck Licence (Desirable) SSSTS (Desirable)
