The Role As our projects progress, we're now looking for Lead Online Engineer to join us, to drive, develop, and maintain the scalability and reliability of our online infrastructure.
You will be pushing for optimal performance and seamless player experiences across the networks and online services that power our games.
As our Lead Online Engineer, you will bring your mix of network engineering expertise, strong people and leadership skills, and exceptional programming knowledge to work with our teams to produce technical excellence.
As our Lead Online Engineer , you will: Design an implement high performance, scalable network infrastructure that can support real time multiplayer games Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of online gameplay Optimize and enhance online infrastructure for performance and stability Debug and fix issues related to online functionality Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to online gaming Requirements What we're looking to see on your CV: Significant experience in network and online multiplayer infrastructure Proficiency in C++ Experience with Unreal Engine or other modern game engines Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization techniques Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Previous experience shipping AAA titles is a plus Bonus points if you have: At least one, or two extra languages under your belt Previous experience in building large scale, realtime, multiplayer games What you can expect from us: Flexible hybrid working (we work 3 days per week on-site) Holiday Accrual Scheme International AAA game projects; Access to cutting-edge hardware; Discretionary bonus scheme Private Healthcare Plan incl.
