Lead Medical Writer - United Kingdom (Remote)BioTalent are Partnered with a global medical communications agency and we are looking for a Lead Medical Writer to join the team with extensive experience in publications and ideally exposure to oncology.You will lead delivery on small-to-medium accounts, ensuring top-quality work on time and within budget, while mentoring junior writers and fostering team development.Key Responsibilities:Technical Writing: Develop and review deliverables like manuscripts, slide decks, reports, and meeting materials.Scientific Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge across therapy areas, with emerging expertise in one.Client Management: Build strong client relationships, lead meetings, and help shape client strategies.Project Leadership: Manage projects end-to-end, including conferences and events, with minimal senior input.Team Mentorship: Coach junior writers, provide actionable feedback, and oversee their work.Financial Oversight: Collaborate on budgets, manage timelines, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.Qualifications:Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.)
in a relevant field.4–6 years of medical writing experience.Expertise in scientific and editorial review.Strong client-facing and team leadership skills.
