Lead Java Engineer - Fintech - £100k - Fully Remote (UK) Are you looking to lead an upcoming engineering team where you'll work with industry leading people?
Do you want to work remotely?
Well this could be the role for you.
We're partnered with a rapidly scaling software business that is already leading the market for making managing finance and payments easier for high net worth individuals and large asset owners (think superyachts or touring musicians)
As they scale through acquisition, they're looking to continually build new API's to intergrate the new services under a singular tech stack to create a more unified customer experience.
To lead this function, we're looking for a Lead Java Engineer who can help mentor and lead a small team initially, and grow with it, potentially into an Engineering Manager role over the next 12-24 months.
To be successful in this role, you must have lead a few engineers previously, but still be very capable and happy as an IC.
The core tech is Java and Spring Boot.
In terms of infrastructure, there is a lot of AWS in use, so some knowledge/experience with Cloud databases is desirable.
the role is 100% remote with the odd team meeting in head office (Manchester), but we do need you to be based in the UK and you should not need sponsorship for this role.
The business are scaling quickly, so for the right person there is a lot of opportunity here, whether you want to move into pure management or remain hands on, the choice is yours.
Please apply today and we will be in touch to discuss the role in more detail.
