Wellbeing prayer room Private express room available for new mothers Training, Learning and Development throughout Free Parking & bike storage area About the job Lead a high-performing team to deliver product requirements Support the NPI manager to ensure the team have the correct knowledge and identify training needs Work together with the project leader in development of project plans to meet project deliverables Ensure Control and Coordination of the engineering design to meet specifications, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet the prime cost & product requirements.
Promote the use of new technologies and work with R&D teams Lead the system design intent, approve designs, calculations, and test specification.
Engineering risk identification, control and mitigation, escalate and to agree appropriate higher-level mitigation Make engineering decision selecting the best solution to engineering problems Develop relationships with internal and external customers / suppliers The right candidate A good Engineering/Scientific degree Significant experience in the process of product development in a high technology environment, including leading engineering activities Detailed knowledge of engineering principles and standards relative to the role Experience of project coordination and management of teams - including leadership skills, high levels of energy with team engagement.
Knowledge of process improvement Technical/commercial awareness to balance potentially conflicting commercial and technical drivers.
