Lead Data Scientist Location: Milton Keynes Salary: Up to £80,000 pa Work Type: Full Time - Hybrid (3 days in office) La Fosse is proud to partner with a rapidly growing international company operating in the retail and service sectors.
The organisation is undergoing a digital transformation and is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive innovation and unlock the value of their data.
As a Lead Data Scientist, you'll work with diverse datasets, develop machine learning models, and deliver actionable insights to optimise business performance and operations.
Key Responsibilities: Building hypotheses and validating their business impact.
Developing machine learning models and optimisation pipelines.
Translating technical data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Designing interactive dashboards using Power BI to visualise real-time insights.
Collaborating with the Data Engineering team to create scalable data solutions.
Core Technical Skills: 3+ years of experience in data science/advanced analytics or machine learning role.
Strong programming skills in Python ; familiarity with Azure and Power BI is essential.
Experience in regression analysis, classification, clustering, and feature engineering .
Proven ability to deliver high-impact insights and present to senior stakeholders.
