They're seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead impactful projects and deliver cutting-edge solutions for industry-leading clients.
You'll work on some of the world's most complex and impactful projects across sectors like oil & gas, renewable energy, chemicals, and more & there is flexibility to transition between teams and contribute to repeat business.
Responsibilities/Work Scope: Provide technical solutions for operational engineering challenges.
Evaluate manufacturers for technical competence and compliance.
Conduct technical studies and prepare reports for management and technical teams.
Review engineering proposals for large projects.
Develop and review engineering documentation (procedures, standards, specifications).
Lead HAZOP/SIL assignments; knowledgeable in IEC 61511.
Collaborate with design engineers, operations, and other internal teams.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and authorities.
Qualifications: BSc in Electrical/Instrumentation or relevant engineering field.
Extensive experience in instrumentation/control engineering (oil, gas, petrochemical).
Experience in FEED projects and plant construction/commissioning.
In-depth knowledge of instrumentation (flow, level, pressure, temperature).
Familiarity with boiler, heater, and furnace control.
Knowledge of materials selection and electrical systems for instrumentation.
Expertise in national/international standards (ISA, ANSI, ASME, API, IEC).
Experience with DCS/ESD systems, Foundation Fieldbus, and vendor PCS/FAT.
Proficient in office and technical software.
