About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Outcomes First Group.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of bespoke assessment and intervention plans for adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and mental health difficulties.The post is located within Care First – Pheasey, Walsall area, Birmingham.
You will be part of a new clinical team facilitating MDT working, consisting of Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy.As a Lead Clinical Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with key partners, resolving conflicts effectively, and developing empowering environments where adults can flourish.
We aim to improve the quality of life for adults through practical and vocational training.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of assessment and intervention plans for adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and mental health difficultiesCollaborate with MDT teams, including Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational TherapyWork sensitively with individuals and resolve conflicts effectivelyDevelop and implement empowering environments that promote adult flourishingRequirementsPost-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic)Registered with the HCPC and BPSExperience in supervising Assistant PsychologistsPrevious experience working with adults with intellectual disabilitiesAble to work collaboratively with key partnersEvidence of continuing professional development relevant to the settingAbout UsOutcomes First Group is the largest independent provider of high-quality education and special needs education.
