Job DescriptionLCV Technician / MOT Tester – Near MaidenheadBasic from £ 28,000 – £30,000Main Franchise seeking MOT Tester / LCV Technician:MOT Tester RoleCarry out MOT's on all vehicles booked into the workshopLiaise with Advisors and customers regarding work carried outWork with colleagues to maintain workshop standards of cleanliness and tidinessAttend regular training to update technical skills and meet dealer standards.MOT Tester – RequirementsYou must be a qualified and skilled MOT Tester with at least 2 years experience working as a Vehicle TechnicianYou must hold a valid MOT LicenceFull UK Driving LicenceLCV Vehicle Technician RoleYou will be required to assist with breakdowns, to carry out servicing and maintenance repairs Identify and diagnose vehicle faults using a logical and efficient method to ensure first time fix is achieved.Communicate well with Customers, colleagues and Service Administration Complete all necessary paper work in-line with company guidelines and manufacturer warranty proceduresAs a LCV Technician:You will be a fully qualified Vehicle TechnicianQualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 of equivalentExperienced in Vehicle DiagnosticsAppropriate driving licence for class of vehicleHours 40 hours a week DAYS!
– 8am to 5pm with hour for lunch Monday to Friday.
NO SHIFT WORK.Overtime is currently paid at 1.25 on a weekday after completing all contracted hours.
