About the Role: As an IC Layout Engineer, you'll be deeply involved in the design, layout, and validation of complex ICs for high-performance applications.
You'll work alongside a team of top engineers, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with FinFET and advanced nodes.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve meticulous design work, problem-solving, and iterative testing to ensure layouts meet the highest standards in performance and reliability.
Responsibilities: IC Layout Design: Create and optimize layouts for critical components using FinFET technology, focusing on precision, density, and performance.
Advanced Node Expertise: Utilize your experience with 7nm-10nm processes to develop efficient, high-quality layouts that align with project specifications and timelines.
Validation and Debugging: Conduct rigorous DRC, LVS, and ERC checks to ensure layout integrity and compliance with design rules.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with circuit design engineers, mask designers, and other stakeholders to align on design requirements and troubleshoot potential issues.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on the latest industry standards and FinFET innovations, bringing new insights to the team and helping to improve design workflows.
Qualifications: Experience in FinFET Technology: Proven experience designing with FinFETs, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and advantages of this technology.
Expertise in Advanced Nodes (7nm-10nm): Direct experience with 7nm-10nm nodes, with the ability to navigate the complexities of these processes.
Tool Proficiency: Proficient with industry-standard layout tools and methodologies, with a high level of precision in DRC and LVS checks.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Detail-oriented and analytical, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving layout challenges.
