You will not be able to provide us with your availability and we cannot allocate you your preferred shifts. Please consider this carefully before applying . The Home Braefield Court is located in the idyllic village of Connor; it is a newly built facility which opened its doors in November 2022.
The service consists of 7 bedrooms, it has really been built with our residents at the heart of it, and specifically tailored to meet the needs of adults living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Complex Needs.
Our residents have the opportunity to access local areas for horse riding, cycling, cinema, eateries, all with staff support 24 hours per day.

The Role At Healthcare Ireland we believe in providing excellent care, an essential part of that is the clothing and facilities available to our residents.
The Laundry Assistant contributes to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents, collaborating with the care and domestic team to ensure clothing, bedding and other textiles are clean, tidy and available to residents as required.
Laundry Assistants are vital to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
The Laundry Assistants at Healthcare Ireland work closely with the care team and residents, building relationships to ensure comfortable and clean clothing and facilities for our residents so they feel cared for.
30 Hours About The Role Main Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron and store linens, clothing and other textiles according to the Home procedures and schedules, using the Home's equipment and supplies.
Ensure that the laundry area is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Support the care team with the tidying and storage of clothing, bedding, towels and textiles.
Restock and replenish laundry supplies, monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages.
Ensure work processes comply with quality and statutory regulations, as well as operational standards and infection prevention and control.
Inspect linen and clothing for stains, tears and damage and report as required to maintain quality standards.
Assist with the collection, distribution, and inventory of resident clothing and personal items, ensuring accuracy in handling resident belongings.
Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
