We are seeking an accomplished and adaptable Assistant Service Manager with a strong background in large team management to join our dedicated team.
This pivotal role will support the delivery of high-quality laundry services across healthcare sites throughout the Highlands and Islands.

The ideal candidate will have: Demonstrable expertise in managing high-volume laundry operations, ideally within a healthcare or similar critical environment.
Strong Team Management Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to meet performance targets and maintain high standards.
Operational Excellence: A proactive approach to process improvement and a commitment to upholding infection control and quality standards.
Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting, to monitor and enhance operational performance.
Adaptability with Systems: Willingness to learn and implement new systems to streamline operations and drive efficiency.

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
