Job description: Lantra Qualified M1/M2 Traffic Management Operatives – GloucesterOur clients require Traffic Management Operatives to carry out tasks such as setting up temporary traffic lights, manning road closures ensuring all schemes run smoothly and efficiently during each working day.Ideally you will live very close to Hereford, but you would need to be willing to drive for approximately half-an-hour to reach the pick up pointDue to the nature of the industry each role would require a certain flexibility and must be able to work both days and nights, including some weekends as required.Successful candidates for the role of TM Operative should have Ability to work as part of a teamAbility to carry out work to a high standardGood communication skillsGood timekeeping skillsWillingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hoursWillingness to carry out other tasks upon requestAbility to always maintain Health and Safety standardsA can do and responsible attitude to work.
Applicants must Be Lantra qualified to M1/M2 and ideally as an M5Have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 pointsMinimum 1 year driving experienceBe able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test when required Hours of work:Monday – Friday, days or nights with some weekend and bank holidays when requiredRate of Pay:Up to £144 per shift to start with increased payments for weekend and bank holiday workThese will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from: Accrued Holiday Pay from day onePension contributions (after a qualifying period)Weekly PayNo umbrella payments or feesOnly Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip.
This will start as a temporary role but could become permanent after 3 months dependant on your performance.
