Working within the respective business' Land & Estates teams , we are looking to strengthen our Land & Estates function to support us as we embark on transformation by defining and implementing a successful Land Strategy, Delivery and Management across the entire organisation.
What you'll be doing The Land & Estates teams within Scottish Power provide a professional Estates Service across all the Scottish Power Group.
The Estates team are responsible for the following delivery: Working alongside key stakeholders to develop, refine and implement Real Estate strategy.
Acquisition of land, property and associated rights by purchase or lease Management of Leased property portfolio including complex Landlord and Tenant issues.
Preparation and management of an appropriate budget with administration of payments to ensure all lease obligations are met.
Negotiation of compensation claims in compliance with statute and case law without creating precedents for the industry Project manage and deliver disposal of all types of property assets at optimal value Negotiation & Administration of Property Taxes.
Across a range of different roles, we are looking for Senior leaders to head up the key pillars of our Estates Departments.
Leading the strategy, delivery, and Estate Management teams you will play a key role delivering the next stage of development and construction across the ScottishPower Group.
We are also looking to recruit Team managers, responsible for leading a team of Surveyors who will be responsible for meeting the full spectrum of Estates services from defining strategy, delivery of land rights, Estate Management and divestment.
In order to implement our ambitious goals, we need Chartered Surveyors with a range of experience and skillsets to support the respective Estates teams.
You will be ambitious with a keen interest in the Energy sector and a desire to grow and develop in an exciting, yet challenging business.
What you'll bring We're looking for candidates who are educated to degree level in a Real Estate discipline, who have a professional membership of RICS and demonstratable PQE experience in a leadership position.
Candidates with experience of the Energy Market with a particular focus on the relevant business area desirable.
With prior experience developing and executing a Real Estate strategy, preferably robust land rights strategies for high-profile infrastructure and energy projects across the UK, you'll have a pro-active approach to everything you do, always considering innovative new approaches to Real Estate strategy and can recognise opportunities to evolve existing ways of working.
Working with teams including Chartered Surveyors, you will have an open, inclusive, and approachable style to encourage collaboration across teams and key stakeholders.
You'll keep abreast of wider market factors that will influence land delivery including growing and developing a network of key contacts to aid such.
The successful candidates will have excellent stakeholder management skills, able to work collaboratively with senior management, solicitors, and external industry peers to design or implement strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve a star rating land & property portfolio.
In senior leader roles, you'll be able to work autonomously on high-profile, time considerate projects recognising sensitivity where required.
