Dynamic Sampling, part of the RSK Group have an excellent opportunity for a Land Drilling Assistant to join our team based in Wrexham, UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join an IIP company who can provide excellent career development.The Role:The role of a Land Drilling Assistant is to assist the driller to mobilise and carry out ground investigations on sites nationwide as instructed by an engineer.
The role is site based and will suit someone who likes working outside.
The role will also require occasional nights away from home.Responsibilities:To maintain a Safe and Healthy work environment at all times.To assist carry out as instructed work on ground investigations.To train as a window sample driller to NVQ standard.To assist inspect, maintain and report on drilling rigs and other equipment.To assist inspect maintain and report on vehicles condition and roadworthiness.To undertake other related duties to meet the needs of the company.To report to the management team any grievances or unsafe practices in the day to day routine of their job.Due to the nature of the business your job description will inevitably change and you will from time to time be required to undertake other activities within the company as directed by your management team.Person Specification:Full UK Driving LicenceTo have a flexible approach to the working environment during the various stages of investigations.The role also requires flexibility in shift working hours and may involve occasional weekend working.Although the driller will be based at our Stoke office, the role will also on occasion require the employee to work away from home. Please note that all suitable applicants will need a full, clean UK drivers licence.Salary and benefits:Salary between £27,000 - £30,500 depending on experienceContributory Pension SchemeA flexible benefits programme including the option to buy additional holidays, and private health careRegular training and career developmentThe RSK Group are an equal opportunities employer#Construction #Civilengineer #EnvironmentalRSK will not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies other than RSK PSL or Secondary agencies.
