Are you a motivator with a passion for innovation. We're seeking a Laminating Team Leader to join our team and drive efficiency on a weekday night shift pattern. The Laminating Team leader role provides support to the shift personnel and the Supervisors in the day to day running of the department.
The role provides technical expertise and critical thinking skills to achieve shift production and quality targets.
As a Laminating Team Leader, your main responsibilities will be: Delegation and distribution of tasks ensuring the team are working on the correct priorities to achieve delivery targets.
Ensure all components adhere to the correct production routings and final sign off procedure.
Communicate clearly instructions, delivery objectives and productivity expectations to maximise resource capability.
Ensure information, BOM and tools are available ahead of manufacture start date.
Ensure technicians are clear on method of manufacture and delivery objectives.
Monitor and supervise team members discipline and timekeeping.
Ensure manufacturing methodology conforms with design intent and is adhered to in full.
Ensure all manufacturing process & QA documentation is completed, and recorded in full, at time of manufacture.
Ensure shift hand-over notes are clear and concise across shifts.
Ensure maintenance schedules and records are maintained of all key plant.
Ensure team participation with the MPI system through monitoring and championing of the cause.
Ensure the team are familiar with and proficient in the use of production supporting hardware and software packages to support full process adherence.
We are looking for a Laminating Team Leader with the following skills and experience: Proven experience within Composites.
A strong understanding of materials and Laminating techniques A strong understanding and use of Autoclaves.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate and enforce company quality standards within the department.
Be a strategic thinker with resource allocation within the department for maximum delivery Ensure understanding of and compliance with health and safety obligations.
Demonstrate exemplary professional conduct while actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high quality standards across departmental operations.
