Labourer (Concrete)

Thorn Baker Recruitment are currently looking for Labourers to work in a busy concrete plant in Alfreton, Our client has immediate vacancies on a temporary to permanent basis.
The Job: As a labourer you will be responsible for: - Physical and manual labour, safely moving heavy products around a busy production environment Safely operating machinery Assisting with the mixing and pouring of concrete into moulds Stripping finished concrete products out of their moulds / casts  Checking the finished product to ensure it meets specifications  Ensuring all health and safety site requirements are met  About You:  Previous concrete experience is highly advantageous but not essential Machine operative experience beneficial but not essential Comfortable with physically demanding work  Looking for a long-term opportunity  Overhead crane license and FLT license are beneficial but not essential Must be able to provide a negative drug test prior to being placed on site The Hours:  Labourers: - 8:00am - 4:00pm  from Monday – Friday.
The Pay:  Labourers: - £11.75 per hour, increasing to £12.75per hour after 12 weeks.
