Laboratory Testing And Administration Assistant (Permanent)

CK Group are recruiting for an Administration and Laboratory Assistant, to join an independent diagnostic laboratory in the animal health industry, at their site based in Cambridge, on a permanent basis.
Our client is a well established, independent diagnostic laboratory providing services to veterinary practices across the UK and worldwide.
Support the Office Manager and other members of the team in striving for customer service excellence in internal and external activities as well as performing all routine administration duties.
Sample reception and scanning of requests into computer system (Matrix).
Use of the Matrix LIMS system and data entry.
Answering the telephone to clients and answering email enquiries from clients.
Preparation and dispatch of laboratory supplies to clients.
Qualification or experience in a scientific environment would be an advantage.
Ability to learn and understand the important elements of laboratory diagnostic testing.
An interest in science relating to animals.
